The first thing to remember is that although there is abundant sunshine much of the year, California is not Florida! Most days are warm, but the nights can be cool. The temperature will regularly drop down into the sixties at night even throughout the warmer seasons. Please make sure to bring a light jacket or sweater with you and bring it with you when you go out at night.

Palos Verdes is pleasant just about year round.  The average temperatures for March are a high of 68 and a low of 49.

If you plan on any evening beach strolls or boat rides a jacket is essential.
